Do the batteries for solar lawn lights need to be replaced?

The batteries of solar lawn lights do need to be replaced regularly. LED beads usually have a long service life, which can reach several years or more, but solar panels and built-in lithium batteries gradually age and degrade over time. To be specific:

Battery life: The life of lithium batteries is generally 3 to 5 years, depending on the use environment and the number of charging cycles. When the battery capacity decreases significantly, resulting in reduced lighting time, it may need to be replaced.

Performance decay: The efficiency of solar panels also gradually decreases over time, but replacing panels is less common than replacing batteries because of its slower decay rate.

Check and replace: It is recommended to check the battery status every few years, if the battery voltage is found to be lower than the normal operating voltage (for example, for a 12V system, the battery voltage is less than 9V), it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced.

Replacement procedure: When replacing the battery, follow the safe operation, turn off the power, remove the lamp, purchase a new battery according to the specifications of the primary battery, and install it correctly.

Through regular inspection and timely replacement of the battery, you can ensure that the solar lawn lamp continues to work efficiently and extend the service life of the entire lamp.
