How many volts of battery does it take to connect 13 LED lights?

The voltage required for 13 LED lights in series depends on the color of the LED lights used. Different colors of LED lights have different working voltages, which can be roughly divided into:

Red or yellow leds: The voltage usually required is between 2.6 and 2.86 volts.

Leds of other colors (such as blue, green, and white) : The voltage usually required is between 3.9 and 4.42 volts.

Therefore, if red or yellow leds are used, the voltage required for 13 in series is about 13*2.86V=37.18V
If it is another color LED, it may need 13*4.42V=57.46V
Or slightly lower, the specific value needs to be determined according to the actual LED specifications.

In practical applications, in order to ensure the stable operation of the LED and prevent overvoltage damage, the current limiting resistor is usually added to the circuit, and considering that the battery voltage will decline with use, the selected battery voltage should be slightly higher than the calculated value, while considering the use of a voltage regulator circuit or adjust the resistance value to adapt to the change in battery voltage.

A string of connected led lights burning a lamp bead will all not light?

In the series parallel led circuit, generally not a single led lamp bead is connected in series in the trunk road, therefore, burning an led lamp bead will not cause the entire lamp string to be out of light.

In common products, most of the led lamp beads are connected in series after being connected in parallel, so at least two lamp beads are burned out, which will make the whole string of lamp beads not bright.

Like this led circuit in parallel and then in series, if one lamp bead is burned out first, the other lamp bead in parallel will burn out due to excessive current through.
