How to distinguish the positive and negative poles of led lamps?

Positive and negative polarity distinction of led lamps

First, the LED lamp positive and negative poles of the differentiation method

LED light is a semiconductor light-emitting device, its normal operation requires the correct connection of positive and negative poles. The following are several ways to distinguish between positive and negative LED lights:

Observe the appearance of the LED lamp beads: most LED lamp beads will have a small bump or gap in the positive pole, while the negative pole is relatively flat. By carefully observing the appearance of the LED lamp beads, you can initially determine its positive and negative poles.

Use the multimeter test: the multimeter will be adjusted to the diode test gear, will be the red pen and black pen contact LED lamp beads of the two pins. If the multimeter shows a reading (generally 0.6-0.7V), it means that the red pen is in contact with the positive pole, the black pen is in contact with the negative pole. If the multimeter does not read or shows OL (out of range), you need to switch the pens and test again.
