How to test the LED light bar?
Leave a message
Test LED light bar good or bad, can be carried out from the following aspects:
1. Appearance check: first observe the appearance of the LED light bar whether there is obvious damage, deformation or stains. High-quality LED light bar shell should be flat and smooth, without defects. At the same time, pay attention to check the product identification, including brand, model, power, voltage and other parameters are clearly labeled.
2. Electrical performance test:
Use a multimeter to test the positive and negative through: connect the red pen to the positive contact of the LED strip, and the black pen to the negative contact. If the value is 0, it means that the access is good; if the value is greater than 0, the LED strip may have been damaged or reverse polarity.
Measurement of voltage and current: Use a voltmeter and ammeter to measure the input voltage and current of the lamps and lanterns to ensure that they work within the specified range.
3. Luminous effect check:
Light up the LED light bar and observe its luminous effect. Good LED light bar luminous uniformity, no obvious dark areas or light spots, and the color is pure, no variegated or off-color phenomenon.
You can try to adjust the voltage or current, observe whether the brightness of the LED strip changes smoothly, in order to determine the stability of its driving circuit.
4. Heat dissipation performance check: LED light bar will produce a certain amount of heat when working, good heat dissipation performance is to ensure its long-term stability of the work of the key. You can use your hand to gently touch the heat sink part of the LED strip, feel its temperature change. If the temperature is too high or uneven heat dissipation, it means that the LED strip has poor heat dissipation performance, which may affect its service life.
5. Other professional tests (if available):
Light parameter testing: Use an integrating sphere photometer to measure the luminous flux, luminous efficiency and other parameters of the LED light bar.
Color temperature and color rendering index test: Evaluate the color temperature and color rendering ability of the light with the help of color temperature meter and color rendering index tester.
Lifetime test: simulate long time usage through accelerated aging test to evaluate the lifetime of LED light bar.
