How to use the brightness adjustment function of LED lamp?

The brightness adjustment function of LED lights can be achieved in a variety of ways, depending on the equipment used and dimming technology. Here are some common methods of adjustment:
Built-in dimmer: Some LED lamps come with dimming knobs or buttons that can be directly rotated or pressed to adjust the brightness. Users simply find dimming control components on the luminaire, rotating clockwise or toward the bright sign to increase brightness, and rotating counterclockwise or toward the dark sign to reduce brightness.
PWM dimming (pulse width modulation) : A fast switching signal is sent to the LED through an electronic controller to change the on-off ratio (duty cycle) of the LED light, so as to adjust the average brightness. This dimming method usually requires external dimmer or smart device support, such as through the mobile phone APP or Bluetooth dimmer control.
Analog dimming: Adjust the brightness by changing the amount of direct current flowing through the LED. This may require a professional dimmer switch or adjustable power supply, which should be operated with caution to avoid excessive current damage to the lamp.
Digital driver control: Some advanced LED lamps are equipped with digital drivers that support brightness adjustment through professional control protocols such as 0-10V, DALI, DMX512, etc. This type of dimming is usually used in commercial or professional lighting systems and requires specialized equipment or software to operate.
Switching dimming: Some simple designed LED lights can achieve simple adjustment of brightness by quickly switching the power supply, but this is not a function supported by all LED lights, and the effect may not be ideal.
External dimmer: For LED lights without built-in dimming function, you can connect a special dimmer to adjust the brightness through the knob or slider on the dimmer.
Smart dimming: Modern smart LED lights can be adjusted remotely through smart Home systems such as Alexa, Google Home, etc., by voice command or mobile app.
When using the dimming function of the LED lamp, attention should be paid to choosing a dimming method compatible with the lamp to avoid the use of unsupported dimmers that cause damage to the lamp. For smart dimming, ensure that the device is properly connected to the appropriate smart system and follow the appropriate operating guidelines.
