led light belt broken how to repair?

Repair individual damaged lamp beads

If only one or two beads in the lamp belt are damaged, you can try the following two methods to repair:

1. Find the damaged lamp bead and short wire the metal contact points at both ends, so that in addition to the damaged lamp bead, the rest of the lamp bead can continue to glow, although the brightness may be slightly reduced, but the impact is not large.

2. If you have strong hands-on ability, you can buy the same type of lamp beads and then replace them by yourself. The specific operation is to use a soldering iron (or hot hair dryer) to heat the old lamp beads until the glue on the back is melted, and remove the old lamp beads with tweezers (be careful not to touch them with your hands to avoid burns). Then, immediately install a new lamp bead (make sure the positive and negative electrodes are correct), and the repair is complete.

Replace a large number of damaged lamp beads

When the lamp bead damage is more serious, the most appropriate way is to replace the entire lamp bead board. The lamp bead board can also be purchased online, but the following points need to be noted when purchasing:

1. First measure the size of the lamp to ensure that the new lamp bead board can be adapted.
2. Compare the appearance of the lamp bead board and the starter connector to ensure that they match.
3. Remember the output power range of the lamp starter so that you can select the appropriate starter.

Replacing the lamp bead board is usually simple: remove the old lamp bead board (usually secured with screws), install the new lamp bead board, and connect it to the starter connector.

Replace starter

Many failures of LED lights can originate from the starter. If the light is not bright at all or the brightness is not stable, it is likely that there is a problem with the starter. The starter is usually beyond repair and needs to be replaced. Fortunately, new starters are usually inexpensive. When buying a new starter, you need to pay attention to the following points:

1. Pay attention to the appearance of the starter connector and ensure that the new and old starter connectors match.
2. Remember whether the lamp has a color adjustment function and the color types supported, the color adjustment function of the new starter must be the same as that of the old starter.
3. Remember the output power range of the starter to ensure that the new starter can adapt to the power requirements of the lamp bead board.

The steps to replace the starter are also simple: first detach the starter from the base (usually secured with screws), then remove the old starter, install the new starter, and secure it with magnets.
