1, indoor installation: When the LED light belt is used for interior decoration, because it does not have to withstand wind and rain, the installation is very simple. Taking the LED light belt produced by Light Rainbow Electronics as an example, each LED light belt is affixed with self-adhesive 3M double-sided tape on the back, and the sticker on the surface of 3M double-sided tape can be directly removed during installation, and then the light strip is fixed in the place where it needs to be installed, and it is good to press flat with your hand. What about places that need corners or are long? Very simple, the LED light belt is a circuit structure composed of 3 leds in a series and parallel way, and every 3 leds can be cut off and used separately.
2, outdoor installation: Outdoor installation because it will be subjected to wind and rain, if the 3M glue is used to fix it, over time it will cause 3M adhesive to reduce the LED light strip off, so the outdoor installation often uses the card slot fixed way, the need to cut and connect the place, the method is the same as the indoor installation, but it needs to be equipped with waterproof glue to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.
3, power connection method: the general voltage of the LED light belt is DC 12V, so it is necessary to use the switching power supply, the size of the power supply according to the power of the LED light belt and the connection length to determine. If you do not want each LED light strip to be controlled by a power supply, you can buy a relatively large switching power supply as the total power supply, and then connect all the LED light strip input power supply in parallel (if the wire size is not enough, it can be extended), and it is unified by the total switching power supply. The advantage of this is that it can be centrally controlled, and the inconvenient place is that the lighting effect and switch control of a single LED light belt cannot be achieved, and the specific way can be measured by yourself.
4, the controller connection: LED lights and RGB full color lights need to use the controller to achieve the changing effect, and the control distance of each controller is not the same, in general, the control distance of the simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of the remote control controller is 15 to 20 meters, the longest can be controlled to 30 meters. If the connection distance of the LED lamp strip is long, and the controller can not control that long lamp strip, then you need to use a power amplifier to tap.
