Basic knowledge of LED light belt

 

LED soft light belt and hard light belt difference:

LED soft light belt: Use a soft FPC to assemble the circuit board, which can be bent, folded and wound arbitrarily.

Advantages: The shape can be bent, curved, and can be arbitrarily combined with various patterns. Suitable for irregular places and small Spaces.

Disadvantages: Compared with the hard light belt installation inconvenience, installation is not easy to fall off.

LED hard light belt: Use PCB board to assemble circuit board, can not bend at will.

Advantages: relatively easy to fix, more convenient installation;

Disadvantages: Can not bend freely, suitable for regular places.

The luminous principle of LED soft lamp belt:

LED soft light belt is the LED light bead welded to the strip flexible circuit board above. LED lamp bead light, light Angle 120 degrees. And the lamp bead distance is about ten millimeters, the layout is dense. It feels like a strip of light.

LED soft light belt classification:

The light strip doesn't have a model number. But glowing LED beads make a difference. On the landscape, 3528 light strips and 5050 light strips are commonly used.

 

3528 lamp belt: The length of LED lamp bead is 3.5mm, the width is 2.8mm. The 3528 lamp belt has one LED chip per lamp bead.

5050 lamp belt: The length of LED lamp bead is 5.0mm, the width is 5.0mm, and the 5050 lamp belt has three LED chips for each lamp bead.

Difference: 5050 lamp belt lamp bead is larger than 3528. The 5050 lamp with the same number of beads has three times the power and brightness of 3528.

 

LED soft light strip size.

Type 3528 LED soft light belt: general width 8 mm, thickness 4 mm.

5050 LED soft light belt: general width 10 mm, thickness 4 mm.

Length can be cut or spliced as needed.

 

Selection of LED soft light belt

 

Voltage of LED soft light belt:

Outdoor, people may touch, in order to avoid safety risks. Select 12V low voltage light belt in the pool.

Choose 12V or 24V low voltage light belt for the landscape wall, steps, flower pond, etc.

 

LED soft light with waterproof grade:

Outdoor waterproof grade IP65 or above, water in the pool IP68.

Color of LED strip:

 

The luminous color of the LED lamp belt, there are red, yellow, blue, green, white, warm white and other monochromatic light, there are also seven color changes. Generally 3000K warm white light on the landscape, creating a warm atmosphere.
