LED lights for special purposes

LED lights show their unique advantages in many areas, especially in low-energy equipment, such as flashlights, solar garden lights, pedestrian street lights and bicycle lights. White LED bulbs are notable for their high efficiency, especially in traffic lights and holiday decorations, where monochrome LED lights play an important role.

In 2010, LED lights set off a boom in horticulture and agriculture. NASA pioneered the use of LED lights for space plant cultivation, and subsequently, home and commercial indoor gardening followed suit. Designed for plant growth, these LED lights match the length of light waves absorbed by chlorophyll, both promoting plant growth and avoiding unnecessary light waste. Because photosynthesis requires only two colors, red and blue, these lamps usually contain both kinds of light. Compared with traditional lamps, LED lamps not only provide the same brightness without additional ballast, but also generate much less heat than gas discharge lamps, which is especially suitable for indoor plant cultivation.

The low heating characteristics of LED lights reduce the transpiration of plants, thus reducing the number of irrigation. Therefore, when using these planting lights, it is necessary to pay attention to moderate irrigation and avoid excessive. In general, LED lights have become the first choice for modern horticulture and agriculture because of their energy saving and optimization effect on plant growth.
