What is LED Panel light?

The design of the LED panel light adopts a square aluminum frame, surrounded by four groups of LED light boards, evenly disperses light through the light guide plate, and covers a layer of EV cotton for protection, and finally adds a cover plate to seal, thus forming an overall square light emitting device. This design is often used to replace traditional grille lights. Common sizes include 30X30 cm, 60X60 cm, and even smaller 15X15 cm specifications. When the lamp is lit, the entire surface shines uniformly, so it is called a panel lamp.

Because of its simple shape and efficient light distribution, LED panel lights are widely used in various indoor lighting scenes, such as offices, classrooms, shopping malls and so on. They can not only provide uniform lighting effects, but also have the characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection and long life. In addition, LED panel lights also have the advantages of easy installation and low maintenance costs, so they are becoming more and more popular in modern lighting design.

Compared with traditional fluorescent lamps, LED panel lamps have lower energy consumption and longer service life. In fluorescent lamps, due to the presence of lamps and ballasts, resulting in high energy consumption, and lamps are easy to age after a period of use, requiring frequent replacement. LED panel lights can significantly reduce energy consumption due to the use of solid-state light sources, high luminous efficiency, and no moving parts. At the same time, the average life of LED panel lights can usually reach more than 50,000 hours, far exceeding the service life of fluorescent lamps. This long life not only reduces the frequency of bulb replacement, but also reduces maintenance costs.

The flexibility of LED panel lights also makes them shine in modern lighting designs. Traditional grille lights usually can only provide a single lighting effect, while LED panel lights can achieve a variety of lighting scenarios through different LED configurations and dimming functions. For example, in an office, you can use warm-hued LED panel lights to create a warm working atmosphere; In the classroom, cool LED panel lights can be used to enhance the learning atmosphere; In the mall, the intensity and color temperature of the light can be adjusted according to different time periods and activity needs.
