What is the best light for indoor flowers?

1. Incandescent lamp: Although the heat is high, it lacks the red and blue light required for plant growth, so it is not suitable as a plant fill light. Its higher heat may cause harm to plants.

2. High-pressure sodium lamp: The light emitted by this lamp is high in heat, but it lacks the red and blue light required by plants for photosynthesis. Therefore, they are usually only suitable for the initial stages of plant growth, such as seed germination or seedling growth.

3. HID lamps (including metal halide lamps) : These lamps have high efficiency, but the cost is relatively high. In addition, the proportion of red and blue light in the light they emit is insufficient, which is not suitable for plant fill light.

4. Halogen lamp: This type of lamp has a higher heat and lacks the red and blue light required by plants, so it is not an ideal choice for plant light.

5. Laser plant lights: The light emitted by this lamp can be precisely controlled, but the cost is higher and the use is less in the home environment.

6. LED fill light: LED lamps have the advantages of low heat generation, low cost, long life and small space occupation, which is very suitable for plant fill light. They can increase crop yields, advance market time and improve quality, while making flowers more colorful and preventing growth.

When choosing an LED fill light, make sure to choose a full-spectrum LED light to avoid dizziness and nausea that may be caused by being in a pink light environment with a mixture of red and blue spectra for a long time. Full-spectrum LED lights can provide a more balanced spectral distribution, closer to natural light, and therefore more suitable for indoor plants.
