When choosing a camping light, how should I configure the brightness of the primary and secondary lights?

When choosing a camping light, the brightness configurations of the main and secondary lights should be determined by their respective functions and usage scenarios:

Main Lamp: As the main source of lighting in the campground, high brightness and a wide range of illumination should be pursued. A brightness of at least 500 lumens or more is recommended to provide enough light even in larger spaces to ensure that activity areas are bright and suitable for reading, cooking or group activities. High brightness helps provide a clear view at night and reduces safety hazards.

Secondary Lights: Secondary lights are typically used to illuminate smaller or specific activity areas, such as dining tables, play areas or tent interiors. Their brightness is recommended at 200-300 lumens, which is bright enough for close communication and activities without being too harsh. Lower brightness levels (under 100 lumens) are also good when a cozy atmosphere is needed for a night's rest.

Importantly, the secondary light should have adjustable brightness so that it can be adjusted according to actual needs, which not only meets the lighting needs of different occasions, but also effectively controls power consumption and prolongs the usage time. In addition, considering the changeable nature of outdoor environment, it is also crucial to choose lamps with waterproof and durable design to ensure stable operation under various weather conditions.
