Why do solar lawn lights light up during the day?

During the day, the solar lawn lights may not light because the solar panels fail to properly charge the batteries. The charging status of the solar panel is monitored through the controller. When the controller's red light is on, it indicates that the solar panel is charging the battery. A flashing red light indicates that the battery is fully charged and the controller is continuously charging with a small pulse current. However, if the connection between the solar panel and the battery is not strong, the solar panel may exhibit voltage but no current. Under normal circumstances, the open circuit voltage of the solar panel should be higher than 17.5V. If the test results do not meet these standards, it may be due to the line connection of the panel is not strong, including welding welding or joints are not strong. In this case, you can open the black electrical cover behind the panel and use a voltmeter and ammeter to detect whether there is current through. If there is no current, there is a problem with the panel and it needs to be replaced.

Another possible reason is that the positive and negative poles are reversed during the connection of the controller, which may lead to damage to the internal components of the controller, which in turn affects the normal operation of the entire system. Ensuring that the positive and negative terminals of the controller are properly connected is critical to the proper functioning of the system, otherwise it may lead to system failure, making the solar lawn lights unable to charge during the day.

In summary, the reason why the solar lawn light is not bright during the day may be that the connection between the solar panel and the battery is poor, or the controller is connected incorrectly. Through the correct detection and maintenance, these problems can be effectively solved to ensure that the solar lawn lights can work normally during the day.
